Liz Sherman

Elizabeth Sherman has been a member of the Rude Mechanicals Theater Company since their first full season. She has acted in numerous rude productions including Largo Desolato, The Winter’s Tale, (wish), the Bacchae 2.1, and Valparaiso. She produced the company’s fall 2002-2003 New Play Reading Series and directed a project in last year’s Actors Directing Actors Series. Outside the company she has performed all around NYC at The Westbeth Theater Center, The Mint Theater and The Here Theater to name a few. In addition, she played Curley’s Wife in Of Mice and Men at The Barter Theater. Most recently she performed in The Classic Stage Company’s production of The Winter’s Tale. She can be seen hosting Cinematherapy on the We network from time to time and began teaching acting to undergraduates last fall. She holds an MFA from A.C.T.
